Mr. August Darbonne

Dual-Credit U.S. History, Mexican-American Studies

A native of south Louisiana, Dr. Darbonne has lived in Dallas since 2019. He holds advanced degrees in History and Educational Leadership, with research focus in culturally responsive education, Native American history, and South Louisiana history. Dr. Darbonne has been published in numerous journals and academic textbooks. He resides in Oak Cliff with his partner and his two cats. He enjoys reading, cooking, swimming, and is a mixed media artist.

Mrs. Kelly Green

U.S. Government; AP Microeconomics

Mrs. Green is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington with a BA in Economics. She earned her MA in Political Science from American Public University. Mrs. Green's teaching certification was earned through Western Governor's University. In her 19 years in education, she has taught students a variety of subjects, including middle school mathematics, AP Macroeconomics, AP Microeconomics, AP Government and Politics, AP US History, IB Economics and IB History. She joined the Northlake family in 2021.

Ms. Krause lives in downtown Dallas with her husband, Randy Green and their two dogs. She enjoys sports, her three sons and their families, including 6 grandchildren
